What the app does
GMB Manager centralizes, for the agency's clients, the review and management of their Google business listings.
Business listing editing (coming soon)
You will be able to view and update the information on your Google business listings (hours, contact details, description, attributes, categories) from a single interface, instead of opening each listing separately. This feature relies on the Google Business Profile APIs and will be enabled once API access is granted.
List of managed accounts and listings
The application lists the accounts and business listings that the user owns or manages, in order to verify that ownership before any operation.
Performance statistics and search keywords (coming soon)
Performance statistics and the search keywords for each listing will be viewable in the dashboard, via the Google Business Profile APIs.
Reviews: reading and replying
The application displays the public reviews of your listings. Today this relies on public data collected independently of the Google APIs. Publishing replies to reviews, on behalf of the listing owner, will go through the Google Business Profile APIs and will be enabled once access is granted.
Access to the application is reserved for clients of the Makemerank agency. There is no self-service sign-up: accounts are created as part of the business relationship.
Why GMB Manager requests access to your Google account
Authentication is performed using the OAuth 2.0 protocol, with the
access level (scope) https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage.
This access is used solely to read and update the business listings that the authenticated user already owns or manages in Google Business Profile. No data is collected via these APIs about third-party businesses.
All writes (editing a listing, publishing a reply to a review) are triggered explicitly by the user in the interface. Nothing is automated or sent without the user's action.
Data obtained from the Google APIs is never sold, never transferred to third parties, and never used for advertising purposes.
The user can revoke this access at any time from their Google account security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).
The use of information received from the Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Details are provided in our privacy policy.
